Data Consolidator.

Consolidate your Data!
Regain Control of your Data. Keep your Files local!

LHSBase@Home collects consolidated Data Items, usually Files recorded from important local Hotspot Folders, in SBases.
Even if a File is collected several times in one SBase (e.g. from several Folders) its Contents is stored only once.
Moreover, if some Parts of a File have been already stored - a common Issue if a File is modified often and repeatedly recorded - LHSBase@Home deduplicates the Contents and stores only new Parts in a SBase.
Whatever LHSBase@Home records into a SBase is stored compressed¹ and encrypted.

NTFS Aware.

LHSBase® takes NTFS Features, such as Hard Links, Sparse Files, Alternate Streams and Reparse Points, into account.
Of course, LHSBase® also stores NTFS Security Settings and other Metadata (e.g. Date of last Access, if requested).
Items can thus be restored out of a SBase with Metadata identical to original Items².
LHSBase® enables Users to fine tune the Recording Process as well as the Restore Process.

Multiple User.

LHSBase® facilitates a MultiUser Management for every SBase.
Data Items recorded from a User into a SBase can be selectively made available to other Users of this SBase, independent from Operation System Limitations.
Therefore, every SBase User³ logs into a SBase using LHSBase®.

Multiple Generations.

Ever wished to access an older Document when it has been overwritten or removed meanwhile?
Any SBase stores multiple Generations of Data Items (e.g. Folders, Files and alternate Streams).
For example, a File once recorded in a SBase and than removed from Source Folder remains stored in that SBase until manually removed from that SBase.
This keeps your Data History alive so long as You wish!

Q: Why does LHPro still supports outdated Systems?
A: Things (of any Kind) are NOT principally outdated as long as they do what they are intended to do - even if new Versions appear!
Windows 2000 and Vista were Milestones. Windows 7, and even XP are still widely used. This should be unproblematic if certain Security Measures are obeyed.
Backward Compatiblity is generally of great Value. Therefore LHPro supports older Systems as well, if feasible.

Notes:
¹ Compression is applied if reasonable.
² If supported by Destination Filesystem.
³ Multiple Users can not login concurrently with LHSBase@Home into one SBase.
